We all have experiences where people or circumstances seem to get in the way of our lives, our good.
What if those seeming blockages and interruptions are really opportunities to let God's power flow through you in unexpected ways?
Jesus was on the way to heal a little girl when a woman with faith to be healed snuck up to Jesus to touch him.
Whatever seems to be sneaking up on you is your divine opportunity to let the divine power flow through you.
Rev. Blair Tabor is an ordained Unity Minister of forty-four years, accomplished speaker, composer and musician. He has used his varied talents to inspire and delight churches, retreats, conferences and young people all over the country with his speaking and songs. He leads a variety of workshops and trainings for congregants, ministers and boards of directors for churches.
As a ministry consultant, Blair has led board orientations and trainings to build sense deeper sense of community within boards of directors. He uses several different planning models to help churches envision and actualize their future. Blair is also called upon to provide training for board officers and staff.
Seven years ago, he retired from full-time ministry from Unity San Diego after 30 years of service. Currently, he is serving as the Administrative Director of the Unity Church of Alhambra Foundation which provides scholarships for students who want to become Unity ministers and Licensed Unity Teachers, as well as provide grants for Regional youth activities and church growth projects in the Southwest Unity Region. Rev. Blair is also Advising Minister for Unity of Tustin. He and his wife, Meredith, lead Unity travel opportunities around the world. Blair is also on the Spiritual Mistry Team for Unity of Tustin.
As a songwriter, he has written over two hundred songs. He has produced a book on Spiritual (Sufi) Dancing. He and the Unity San Diego church band, The Affirmatives, recorded a CD of 13 of Blair’s songs. A songbook of these songs is available. He has also produced meditation CD’s. He plays a variety of instruments and delights in making people smile. Last year, he and his wife, Meredith, were awarded Unity Worldwide Ministries “Grace Note” award for lifetime achievement in New Thought music. He produced a new CD to celebrate the occasion.
His Mission is: Develop and deliver resources for spiritual transformation.
His goal is to remind people of their connection to God’s love and joy.

How many of us are shaking our heads in disbelief at the events in our world right now?
We’re shocked at the inhumanity demonstrated by those in power, by the callous use of force on innocent people, and the targeted violence based on beliefs and politics.
We see a world out of control and feel powerless to know how we can make a difference.
Unity has always taken a strong stand for peace, and the 5 principles remind us of our individual capacity to make choices based on our values. But many of us want more than words, we want clarity and guidance to know our part.
Charlie Fillmore co-founder of the Unity movement held that humans have 12 innate qualities of being that elevate our consciousness and determine our words and actions. One of these is the spiritual power of UNDERSTANDING. This Sunday Rev. Patricia will help us bring more awareness to this dynamic power of UNDERSTANDING as a way to engage with a world that seems to have fun off the rails.

How is it possible that our experiences of peace and joy, calm and well-being, can seem to come and go? After all, we Truth students know that these states of mind are an ever-present reality no matter what.
We’ll explore the supposition that in the present moment there is space enough between thoughts and feelings where we can feel the the spaciousness, peace, and quiet of the ever-present reality of Being, of God, of Spirit itself.
Rev. Sonya is recurrently retired from pulpit Ministry and enjoys spending time with her 11 year-old great-nephew, his 5 year old sister, and, of course, her husband, Rev. Hal Milton.. Previously, she served Unity Worldwide Ministries and the West Central Region as a Certified Transition Consultant, guest speaker and workshop/retreat facilitator, and all around beneficial presence. Her passion and joy lie in assisting people in “coming to themselves” in real, authentic, and profound ways.
