The question is whether your container is still helping your growth—or quietly limiting it.
The pot isn’t the problem. In fact, it was exactly what the plant needed—until it wasn’t. The very container that once nurtured new life eventually became too small for continued growth. Jesus called it “old wineskins.” A gardener calls it being “pot-bound.” The invitation is the same: don’t mistake a once-helpful container for your permanent home.
Rev. Patricia will be sharing throughout the next two months from Rev. Jim Rosemergy’s books A Closer Walk With God and A Little Book of Big Questions About Prayer. Some people may chose to follow his 40-day practice. We will hand out the 40 days Practices on Sunday.
