Life doesn’t always move in straight lines—and neither does spiritual growth. In this week’s message, we explore Dancing with Chaos, a practice from Living Originally, and a vital skill for living authentically in uncertain times.
Rather than resisting change or clinging to control, this service invites us to discover how presence, flexibility, and awareness allow us to remain grounded even when life feels unpredictable. Through the lens of The Quest for Wholeness, we’ll reflect on how chaos can become a teacher rather than a threat—and how learning to “dance” with life’s uncertainty opens the door to growth, creativity, and deeper trust.

Rev. Richard Carlini is an ordained Unity minister and the Senior Minister of Unity of Davis, where he leads a vibrant, primarily online spiritual community focused on authentic living, compassion, and wholeness. With over 25 years in the Unity movement, Richard brings a grounded, practical approach to spirituality that invites individuals to live with greater awareness, resilience, and heart.
In addition to his ministry, Rev. Richard has more than four decades of experience in healthcare, including hospice and end-of-life care. As a registered nurse and educator, he specializes in grief, loss, and the human experience of transition, integrating these insights into his teaching and pastoral work.
A dynamic speaker and facilitator, Richard is known for his relatable storytelling, gentle humor, and ability to make spiritual principles accessible and meaningful in everyday life. His work centers on helping individuals navigate life’s challenges with presence, self-compassion, and a deepening sense of wholeness.
The Sunday service begins at 10:30 AM (Pacific time). Those joining online are welcome to join the Zoom session as early as 10:15 AM to virtually socialize before the service.
