"The Power of Gratitude"

Rev. Dr. Patricia Keel

Imagine you could quickly regain your sense of peace after bad news… spread a sense of joy wherever you go… and just feel better about yourself and your life in general. This is all possible… and there are proven ways to get there when we discover The Power of Gratitude.

Gratitude is acknowledged in all spiritual traditions.

I am not contained by this universe. If every tip of hair on me could speak, I still couldn't say my gratitude. In the middle of these streets and gardens, I stand and say and say again,
and it's all I say, I wish everyone could know what I know.

– Rumi

If the only prayer you ever say in your entire life is thank you, it will be enough.
- Meister Eckhart

Give thanks for the unknown blessings already on their way.
- Native American Proverb

Eight pillars of joy: respective, humility, humor, acceptance, forgiveness, gratitude, compassion, and generosity. - the Dalai Lama

Happiness will never come to those who fail to appreciate the blessings they already have. Say Alhamdulillah (Thanks be to God) every moment of life. - Islam
