Our Guest Speaker
Rev. Sonya Milton
T.S. Eliot’s poem Little Gidding suggests:
We shall not cease from explorationAnd at the end of all our exploring
Will be to arrive where we started
And know the place for the first time.
We’ve all had interesting lives, full of ups and downs, expectations and disappointments, hopes and dreams realized, then dashed. What if we looked back at those times when it seemed we were struggling with something beyond what we could ever imagine from another point of view?
We’ll explore how in the midst of this wrestling with something greater than our seeming selves can reveal a far greater Blessing than we ever could have imagined, thereby reframing our present in a richer way.
Rev. Sonya Milton is retired from pulpit Ministry and enjoys spending time with her family, and, especially, her husband of over 40 years, Rev. Hal Milton. Previously, she served Unity Worldwide Ministries and the West Central Region as a Certified Transition Consultant, guest speaker and workshop/retreat facilitator, and all around beneficial presence. Her passion and joy lie in assisting people in “coming to themselves” in real, authentic, and profound ways.
The Sunday service begins at 10:30 AM (Pacific time). Those joining online are welcome to join the Zoom session as early as 10:15 AM to virtually socialize before the service.
